Summer Services

Specialized Literacy/Dyslexia Intervention Tutoring

I provide specialized dyslexia and reading interventions using research-based, evidence-backed instructional methods designed to support students who struggle with literacy skills, diagnosed with dyslexia, or those suspected to have dyslexia.

My approach is structured, explicit, and multisensory, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support they need to build strong reading and writing skills. With significant training in dyslexia intervention, I understand the unique challenges these students face and tailor instruction to target key areas such as:

• Phonological awareness and phonemic awareness

• Systematic phonics and decoding strategies

• Fluency development

• Spelling and word recognition

• Reading comprehension and written expression

I hold a Certificate in Dyslexia from the University of Florida, one of the few programs in the United States accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. In addition, I hold certification as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist from the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. This specialized training equips me with the knowledge and tools to provide effective, research-driven instruction that fosters literacy success.

Whether your child has a formal dyslexia diagnosis or you suspect they may struggle with dyslexia, I am here to provide expert, individualized support to help them gain confidence and THRIVE!

$75 per hour (Virtual)

$125 per hour (In person)

I offer individualized literacy and dyslexia consultations for families seeking clarity and guidance. Services include reviewing and interpreting literacy assessments, intervention reports, and school-based documentation to help parents understand their child’s reading profile, strengths, and areas of need. Families receive clear explanations, informed recommendations, and practical next steps to support their child’s reading development and to advocate for appropriate instruction, intervention, and services within the school setting.

Parent-Caregiver-Homeschool Coaching

$75 per hour (Virtual)

$125 per hour (In person)

Many parents, caregivers, and homeschool families want to support their child’s reading and writing development but feel overwhelmed by programs, resources, and instructional choices, especially when dyslexia or learning differences are involved. I provide personalized coaching and training in research-based literacy practices to help families confidently support literacy learning at home. Through practical strategies, curated resources, and ongoing guidance, families gain the tools and confidence to strengthen reading, writing, and spelling skills in ways that fit naturally into daily routines.

Literacy and Dyslexia Screening

$300

Using a combination of evidence-based screeners and literacy assessments, I can screen your child’s reading, spelling, phonological awareness, and related literacy skills to determine whether they may be at risk for dyslexia or other reading difficulties.

It is important to note that I do not diagnose dyslexia. Instead, these screenings are designed to identify areas of strength and need and to provide meaningful data about your child’s literacy profile.

Following the screening process, parents and caregivers receive a comprehensive written report that includes results, data analysis, and individualized recommendations. This report can serve as a starting point for families seeking additional services and support and may be shared with the child’s school to inform conversations about further evaluation, dyslexia programming, and reading interventions.

Literacy Consulting for Schools

$75 per hour (Virtual)

$125 per hour (In person)

I provide evidence-based literacy and dyslexia consulting for schools and districts, supporting effective reading instruction, intervention systems, and instructional decision-making. Services include reviewing literacy programming and MTSS/SRBI frameworks, analyzing assessment and intervention data, and providing guidance on evidence-based reading and dyslexia-informed practices aligned with the Science of Reading.

I also design and deliver professional development for educators and support staff focused on dyslexia, structured literacy, and effective reading interventions, with an emphasis on practical classroom and intervention application. Schools walk away with clear, actionable recommendations, implementation guidance, and professional learning that strengthens instructional practices and improves student reading outcomes.
